What's True Talk?
Have you ever noticed when you call using long distance telephone cards the card expires faster then it should. For example, if you bought a $5 card with an advertised rate for a country you are interested in calling at 10 cents a minute, you would think that you are getting 50 minutes talking time. But for some reason the card expires sooner then it should.
Another example, with the same $5 card at 10 cents a minute rate would be when you talk for 10 minutes then hang up the phone and leave your card for the next time. You would think you have 40 minutes left for the next call based on the rate that we used in this example. But when you make another call, a friendly voice tells you that you have 25 minutes left.
How can this be? The answer is simple.
About 70% of telephone card providers sell something called ONE CALL TERMINATION CARDS based on low grade VOIP technology or in other words CHEATING MECHANISM CARDS.They attract callers with low advertised poster rates, but make their profit when you hang up the phone. As soon as you do that, there are 3 or more charges applied to the card and you can lose up to $2 each time you hang up the phone. Some companies will even terminate connection automatically to force you to dial again.
Our True Talk Technology offers great rates based on Tier-1 and dedicated Voice Termination, Multi Call features and no cheating.
Let's take our $5 card example, with 50 minutes using 10 cents per minute rate.
You can talk for all 50 minutes in one call and the card will expire exactly in 50 minutes or you can talk for 10 minutes, then hang up the phone. When you call the next time, you will have 40 minutes left on account.
